T - 2 days until Germany trip and I'm still having trouble with the left ankle. I'm happy to say I don't get pain behind the knee, the calf or tibial muscles. But the top of my ankle and tarsals are killing me. If I do much as let my leg hang off the bed it will start hurting. Of course, standing or sitting with my feet on the floor is equally as painful. Tylenol and Oxycodone don't really seem to be helping.
I did receive a steroid dose pack in the mail the other day. I'm really hoping that will work. I've already taken 3 days worth and have another 3 to go. I ordered a couple of different ankle braces because applying pressure always seems to feel better.
We noticed the other day that the water heater on the RV wasn't working. I called a local mobile repair man that has helped me before. I had him swap the whole thing out for a new one. He practically had the job done this morning by 9am. I also asked him about putting in a T connector to the propane tank so that I can attach 20lb tanks if needed. I won't be able to get propane on the base and I don't want to have to break camp to go in search of propane if the weather is bad. He said it's no problem, 20min job. He will order up the parts.
