Started today by walking up to the Akershus fortress. Decent views of the harbor.
Today we took a 2.5 hour sightseeing boat tour of Oslo Fjord. The Oslo Fjord is not like the Fjords in the north, but it still meets the requirements of being carved by ice and open to the sea.
An interesting story of this little house is the husband once sent his wife across the ice to the grocer with a note. The note said ‘I did not send any money because the ice is too dangerous.’ Yet he sent his wife across.
On this island, everyone is related; although, one of the houses on the far right is up for sale at 45milion Kroner (~ $4.5 million).
Akershus Fortress seen from the sea.
The opera house made to look like an iceberg. The art in the water is supposed to be a broken of piece of the iceberg.
