Monday

We got up at 0700 and headed right to the train station for a 30min ride to the airport. Security was not that bad to get through. Unlike TSA, you don't have to remove your shoes unless they set the metal detector off.

 Leaving Leonardo da Vinci airport.

A mountain that has risen out of the sea off the coast of Italy.

Just beyond the mountain island, I think, is the island of Capri.

Genoa, Italy

Just above the clouds as we make our decent to Heathrow.

We arrived in Heathrow airport at 1300 London time. This airport is really nice. As we were passing all the poor schmucks waiting for baggages,we proceeded toward the trains. In the hallway was a guy just standing there with a little handheld device asking people if they wanted to taking the express train (which we did). I was able to get our tickets and pay with my Visa right here and proceed to the train.

Heathrow airport.

The Express train leaves every 15min and only take 15min to get to Paddington station. From there we jumped on a taxi to get to the hotel.

Our hotel is very nice. It was a little deceiving walking down the hallways as the floor creaked under our feet, but the rooms are very nice and even have a jacuzzi tub.

The sign on the wall says "Mind Your Head", so mom will get the bed on this side of the room.

Jacuzzi tub.

Inside Harrods. This little jacket was in the pet section. I didn't see what the price was, but I'm sure I could pay for my vacation with the prices they charge.
