Tuesday afternoon

Last night we chose to book a walking tour of the Colosseum, the Forum, and Capitoline Hill. Our guide was an 81 year old man who spoke Italian, English, and Spanish. The tour is able to bypass lines, but being January there weren't many lines.

Captioline Hill was a bit of a walk up cobblestone streets. At the top was a piazza designed by Michelangelo. In the center is the statue or Marcus Aurelius and right in front is a brass marker. It marks the geographical center of Rome and as our guide stated this is the point where "all roads lead to Rome".
